A (Phone) Jammin’ Party!
July 20 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Our national group has put together a great campaign called ” 50 Days of Shame” which runs from June 16-August 6th.
Each of the US’ 50 states was assigned a specific day to shine the light of shame upon our legislators, and West Virginia’s day is this Sunday, July 20th. As one of three different way we’re participating, we’re going to “jam” the phone lines of US Legislators who (supposedly) represent West Virginia, and let them know EXACTLY how we feel.
You can call from home- even wearing your pajamas! Just make sure to leave them a message as the offices will be closed.
Demand they:
- Save funding for for NPR & PBS
- Release Epstein files
- STOP disappearing our neighbors
- Unmask ICE agents
- Condemn the use of military against Americans
- Fund US weather prediction and climate science
- Defend CDC funding and programs
- Restore funding for medical and cancer research
- Protect the rights of people with disabilities
- Restore funding and programs for FEMA
- Or any other topic important to you…..
Call Senator Jim Justice at 604 342-5855 and 202 224-3954.
Call Senator Shelley Moore-Capito at 304 262-9285 and 202 224-6472
Call Representative Riley Moore at 304 225-2711 and 304 350 6987
Leave your name and WV zip code
Best to focus on ONE TOPIC per call, but there’s no reason you can’t call multiple times and leave multiple messages, right?
The point is to “jam” their phone lines and message capacity, so let’s get busy dialing.
Then log into our Facebook group at 5:00pm so we can recap who we called and what we said.
Sharing is caring. LOL
