Thursday Protests continue in November (11/6, 11/13, 11/20)
We’ll be PEACEFULLY protesting at Senator Capito’s office at 300 Foxcroft Ave. from 10:00–10:50 & then at Representative Moore’s office at 739 Winchester Ave. from 11:00–noon.
We are celebrating and buoyed by the almost complete sweep by progressive candidates and ballot measures in the recent special elections. We currently have an authoritarian regime that is undermining the foundations of our Democratic Republic, including the role of Congress, and our elected members officials are ceding their power to Trump. Our institutions are being trampled on or destroyed and our rights are being curtailed. We need our representatives to stand up for what is best for West Virginians.
IF YOU CARE ABOUT our Democracy, our Constitution & the Bill of Rights, the Rule of Law, Due Process for all, the practice of kidnapping and disappearing undocumented immigrants & citizens from our communities without due process, our Economy, our Standing in the World, Civil Rights, our Justice System, Medicaid, SNAP, Education, Veterans, the Arts, the Environment, Public Lands, Science, Medical Research, Consumer Protections, Workers’ Rights, NOAA, Americorps, Head Start, Meals-on-Wheels, the Free Press, NPR & PBS…the list is long, WE WELCOME YOU TO JOIN US!
Bring your SPIRIT, your VOICE, a FRIEND, & a SIGN!![]()
There will be extra signs if you need one.
The crew from Berkeley Springs will meet at Black Cat Music Shop at 9:00 to carpool to Martinsburg. Please RSVP below or to mcwvindivisible@gmail.com if you can, so we’ll have a number for carpooling. If you are willing to drive, please note that.
Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
