Dangerous “Project 2025” priorities enacted (that we oppose).
- Reducing Medicaid funding resulting in closure of rural hospitals in red states like ours.
- Firing federal workers providing services to veterans, Social Security recipients, the FAA & managing our National parks.
- Limiting access to food assistance (SNAP) canceling Meals on Wheels for seniors., eliminating the Head Start early education program, serving over 1 million children .
- Restricting access to abortion.
- Violating the First Amendment & targeting protesters and journalists
- Cutting overtime protections for 4.3 million workers.
- Rescinding civil rights protections, including those protecting LGBTQ+ communities, Veterans, and the Disabled
- Kidnapping and removing legal immigrants and US citizens without due process.
- Disobeying Supreme and Federal Court rulings.
