Morgan County Indivisible (MCWVI) is ramping up its efforts to engage the community in peaceful activism and advocacy. With a focus on protecting vital social programs and defending democratic values, MCWVI is offering several opportunities for all to get involved.

** UPCOMING EVENTS:

🎨 Poster Making Session:

** This Friday, April 4th, 6:30 PM, to create signs for upcoming events. Some supplies will be provided.

Frog Valley Artisans 82 Powerline Ln, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411

✋🏼 HANDS OFF!: This is a national mass activation in defiance of the Trump-Musk Billionaire takeover and the assault on our freedoms and communities. Be a part of this massive, visible, national rejection of this crisis. The goal is to show that the people – the majority – are taking action to stop this lawlessness, cruelty, corruption and power grab.

** On April 5th, starting at noon, MCWVI will host a RALLY starting at noon in

Berkeley Springs at the Courthouse.

** On April 5th, members of MoCo Indivisible will also travel to DC for the MARCH there.

** On April 5th, Indivisible Jefferson County is hosting a RALLY in Charles Town, WV starting at noon at the old Courthouse.

🤫 MOMENT OF SILENCE:

Join people around the world every Wednesday, for one minute of silence at 12:53 PM to reflect on all the suffering the Trump administration is causing to this country and around the globe. Why 12:53 PM? This is when the January 6th protestors, now pardoned, first crossed the police barricades and when the three richest people in the world — Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg — all were seated for Donald Trump’s inauguration.

👉🏼 IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR ALL EVENTS:

🇺🇸 All rallies and events are peaceful and non-violent. Participants are asked to walk away from any confrontations.

🇺🇸 Do not impede traffic, whether vehicular or pedestrian. Utilize sidewalk space effectively to avoid congestion.

🇺🇸 Safety is paramount. Watch out for fellow attendees and take care of each other.

💬 SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT:

MCWVI encourages attendees to share their experiences on social media using the hashtags #MCWVI, #MCI, #ResistWV, and #HandsOff. Post pictures and tag elected officials to voice concerns and make your voice heard.
