SUMMARY:Signs of Justice Postcard Party
DESCRIPTION:We will be gathering at a local business to write 100 postcards to our Members of Congress. We are joining the Signs of Justice 12 MILLION POSTCARDS Campaign “We the People Oppose Unchecked Federal polICE power.”(https://www.signsofjustice.com/products/we-the-people) \n\n\n\nNO TROOPS in cities without state approval. NO ICE RAIDS without a judicial warrant. DUE PROCESS for ALL including non-citizens. \n\n\n\nThe Constitution is clear: Article VI and Amendments 4\,5\, & 14.  \n\n\n\nThe majority of Americans agree on these issues. Congress needs to hear this again & again\, so let’s Flood Congress with the FACTS! \n\n\n\nWe’ll provide the printed postcards\, the pens & markers\, and the stamps. Our ask of you is to write additional messages on the cards & address them. They will be mailed in bulk on March 1st. \n\n\n\n*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
