PROTESTS AT CAPITO’S & MOORE’S OFFICE RESUME THIS THURSDAY MAY 8th
THURSDAYS THROUGH MAY in MARTINSBURG 10:00am – Noon
– 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, and 5/29
We’ll be PEACEFULLY protesting at Capito’s office at 300 Foxcroft Ave. from 10:00-10:50 & then at Moore’s office at 739 Winchester Ave. from
11:00-noon, presenting our written demands, & speaking with someone if available.
Shelley Moore Capito and Riley Moore may have returned to Washington after not conducting any Town Halls during their recess, but we’re taking our protests to their Martinsburg offices again. We demand CONGRESS, specifically our lawmakers, uphold their oaths and use their power to stop the continuing implementation of PROJECT25 which is devastating our country & our democracy, leading us into a dictatorship.
IF YOU CARE ABOUT our Democracy, our Constitution & the Bill of Rights, the Rule of Law, our Economy, our Standing in the World, Civil Rights, our Justice System, Medicaid, SNAP, Education, Veterans, the Arts, the Environment, Public Lands, Science, Medical Research, Consumer Protections, Workers’ Rights, NOAA, Americorps, Head Start, Meals-on-Wheels, the Free Press, NPR & PBS…the list is long, WE WELCOME YOU TO JOIN US IN MAKING OUR DEMANDS KNOWN.
We will continue to demand our lawmakers pressure the White House to follow the Supreme Court order and facilitate the return of KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA back home to his family and to end their practice of kidnapping and disappearing people from our communities without due process.
